		<description>Joanns sells solid foam in various sizes.  You can cut it with a serrated bread knife and then glue layers of if together to get the shape and size you need.  But you really don&#039;t want the back cushions to be foam ONLY as that will end up being rather uncomfortable -- the back cushions need to conform  to your back more than foam does.  The best combination is to use a core of solid foam about 20 to 30% smaller than the final cushion and then wrap it with several layers of polyester fiber filling (which you can also get at Joanns, back in the upholstery department. After you&#039;ve got it the shape and density you like, make a cover for the stuffing out of muslin so you can slip off the outer cover to clean it.
