Fabric glue on vinyl?

Can I use a fabric glue (such as jiffy sew) to form a seam with vinyl? I am trying to cover a high-density foam cushion in vinyl, but am having trouble hand-stitching the final seam. Will a fabric glue work to close up the cushion cover, or must I stitch it by hand?

I had no luck gluing vinyl together with fabric glue. I also tried Silicone household glue and something called "Amazing E 6000". I threw the E-6000 package away but it probably claimed to work on vinyl or I wouldn’t have bought it. I suggest looking in hardware or camping supplies stores for something specifically made to work on vinyl.

I ended up sewing mine. Have you tried a curved needle? It’s not easy but your seam will most likely be stronger.

I hope someone has a better answer for us both! Good luck
