I know what is a foam seal but what’s point is there? And which one is best for keep the water out of your eyes?
Foam seals do if fact dry up after a while but plastic seals (PVC) have a tendency to stiffen up in cooler water. There are also rubber seals but they degrade rather quickly when exposed to the elements and pool chemicals. Your best bet is to get goggles with a silicone seal. The silicone is more resistant to the chemicals in the pool and conforms to the facial features more readily. AquaSphere makes excellent swim goggles. They are a division of Aqualung which makes scuba equipment. They realize the importance of a good seal.

Foam are more comfortable but they dry up if left outta water and in the sun to long. They work by filling up with water and creating a seal. For racing and competitive training Plastic seals are better but for part timers foam seals are more comfortable.
Which one keeps the water out better? New foam ones and plastics both work the same when fitted right but plastics work better for longer.
