i've given this answer several times before but no one seems to take this advice. use a hair dryer a little at a time to heat that sticky foam & glue, then gently try scrapping it off
with a scrapper of some kind. GENTLY,
the heat actually melts the glue. be careful not to use to much heat at one time. experement, a little heat a little soft scrapping. good luck.
References :
Try WD40 or any kind of oil to soften the glue. Also give white vinegar a try after the oil thing.Let it set a while to give the WD40 time to penetrate the glue all the way down.
