1. Cheeseburger Wrappers - I stopped eating fast food and I don't eat meat. But if it's paper and clean you can recycle it with other paper.

2. Empty gluesticks - They can't be recycled, so don't buy them anymore. Opt for a glue bottle that can be recycled.

3. foam packaging- I reuse it over and over and over for shipping

4. Empty perscription pill bottles - they should be recyclable, you can also use them to hold small items like buttons or change. Just decopgae the outside or paint it.

5. Plastic covers for things you buy (over batteries, toys, toothbrushes) - I PREcycle, which means buy htings with minimal packaging.

6. Plastic Sandwich bagies - I don't buy them.

7. Kleenex (used) - Don't buy it; I use cloth handkerchiefs, but kleenex can be composted.

8. shampoo bottles (empty) - recycle

9. broken glass shards - hmm....I think you can recycle these

10. Gum wrappers - if it's paper it's recyclable; if it's not don't buy it.
References :
http://sustainablesundays.blogspot.com

I try to recycle as much as possible, but this list....

My recycling program wont take any of those things....except the shampoo bottles and the empty pill bottles

So I would have to toss them. I wouldn't expose workers to the germs in a used kleenex anyhow - thats bad karma I'm sure. I would reuse the empty pill bottles to organize my crafts box - just make a new label. Broken glass can be taken to a recycle center, but not placed in a curb bin....so if you want to drive, you could do that....
