Easy, I keep them all and every so often I sell stuff on Ebay.
You can turn boxes inside out and use them to post it in packed with all that foamy stuff. Saves on postage!
References :
I've been wondering the same thing. I suppose you could use the bubble wrap bit for protecting valuable things/delicate ornaments if you move away or if you wanted to give any of that or bric-a-brac to a charity shop, wrap it in that so it doesn't break?

Or, if you're an artist of any sort, reuse it by making something out of it/painting onto it!
References :
brown paper and cardboard goes into my compost bin, bubble wrap i use to cover tender perennials during winter and emerging seedlings in the greenhouse during the spring, foam pieces and polystyrene i use to half fill patio plant pots and hanging baskets, this provides good drainage and i use less compost, it can be left in the pots year after year. hope this has been helpful.
References :
experienced re-cycler

Cereal boxes - I cut the big sides off and use for writing messages at home with marker pen, with reminders, and also for writing shopping lists. I also use the inside packing for packing up sandwiches etc, I use it like greasproof paper, useful for storing things in the fridge too.
References :
My local mailing service accepts them for re-use. I think UPS does as well.
