Are foam mattresses hotter to sleep on than an inner-spring mattress?

Thinking about a memory foam mattress. I live in Florida and like to be cool when I sleep.

they can be, but I"ve found that by using a high thread count sheet and a mattress pad that lowers the temp, that I stay very cool..

    I have a memory foam topper and it gets a little warm. I agree with Dararie, get some good cotton sheets. They are nice and cool.

    Hi handsom! I live in CA and memory foam sleeps hot here. I have a mattress pad and high thread sheet and I still get hot.
